Gibson LG1 c 1966
SOLD

Clean example of a well-made and iconic Gibson from the sixties, with original Gibson hang tag.  All components to the guitar are original and in good condition, including the Kluson tuners, finish, nut, saddle and pins.  A new ebony bridge was carved to replace the plastic original, which now resides in the original soft case.  There is some playing wear on the neck and top, some crazing below the bridge, and some finish loss in a section of the bridge perimeter from the original bridge having pulled up. The Brazilian finger board and frets show some divots in the lower position.

The neck measures 1 9/16" across at the nut, and string spacing is 2 1/16" at the saddle.  Action is set at 7/64" & 8/64" and the guitar plays easily and produces a nice, boxy, ladder-braced tone with good sustain.

Comes with its original soft case.
